Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy describes information handled by the current Build Credit website and consultation journey. The credit workspace shows example data until a credit provider is connected.
1. Information you provide
When you begin the journey, we collect your email address. If you complete the consultation form, we also collect your name, purchase goal, and credit-improvement goal. We record submission and completion times to manage the request. If you choose to create an account, our authentication provider handles your email and password and we store a basic profile with your name and preferences. Authorized administrators can view consultation records in a private admin area.
Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit reports, dates of birth, or sensitive identity documents. This website does not request or process SSNs.
2. How information is used
We use submitted details to receive and manage your consultation request, understand your stated goals, and contact you about that request. We also use technical safeguards to associate the second step with the original submission and prevent unauthorized changes.
Submitting the form does not authorize a credit inquiry or enroll you in a paid service. It is not a separate opt-in to unrelated marketing.
3. Cookies and browser storage
- A necessary, HttpOnly journey cookie links your two-step submission. It expires after 24 hours. A hashed token is stored with the request to validate updates.
- Your email is temporarily held in session storage to prefill the next step. It is separate from the consultation record saved when you submit.
- The workspace stores completed task identifiers and a selected goal category in local storage. It does not store real credit records or sensitive identity inputs.
- If you sign in, the authentication provider stores session information in your browser so you can remain signed in. Use Sign out to end your session.
You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing it does not delete a previously submitted consultation record, and may prevent completion of an existing journey. The workspace reset clears its saved preferences.
4. Service providers and technical information
Our hosting provider supplies website hosting and storage of consultation records. Infrastructure providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and error logs, to operate and secure the site. Website fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to deliver them.
Consultation information may be handled by authorized people and service providers involved in responding to your request. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. No credit-report API or identity-verification provider is currently connected.
Google Ads and advertising choices
When advertising tracking is permitted, Google Ads receives IP address, browser and device information, page URLs without query strings, and advertising interactions, and may use cookies for advertising measurement and optimization. We do not send email addresses, consultation details, or credit information to Google for matching. This installation does not report consultation submissions as conversions.
Advertising tracking is disabled in regions requiring consent and whenever your location cannot be determined. No advertising consent banner is shown. Elsewhere, tracking may be enabled, subject to previous refusals and applicable browser privacy opt-outs, including Global Privacy Control. You can enable your browser’s Global Privacy Control to opt out. Previously blocked activity is not replayed.
If you previously made an advertising choice on this website, its browser-local record is retained, including the random visitor identifier, time, region, and notice shown. Previous refusals remain respected; previous acceptance does not enable tracking in consent-required regions under this no-banner setup. Google handles information under its Privacy Policy.
5. Credit providers and external links
If credit verification becomes available, sensitive identity details must be submitted directly to the provider—not through this website. Its own privacy policy and consent process will apply. We will update this policy before introducing materially different data collection. External websites are responsible for their own practices.
6. Retention and security
Consultation records are stored after submission; no automatic deletion schedule is currently configured. Retention should be limited to what is needed to respond to requests and meet applicable obligations. Browser storage has the separate lifetimes described above.
Access controls and token validation help protect submitted information, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You may choose not to submit a form. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your information. If you receive a consultation response, reply to request help with your information or ask us to stop contacting you. Identity may need to be verified without asking for an SSN.
A dedicated privacy contact and legal business identity must be provided before this policy is finalized for customer use.
8. Children and policy updates
This website is intended for adults exploring credit and purchase goals, not children. Do not submit information about a child. Changes to our practices will be reflected here with an updated date and additional notice where required.
